The employee must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Specific vision acuity requirements include close vision, depth perception, and color recognition. This person will frequently be required to be on step ladders up to 12’ and extension ladders to 26’. Occasional use of a man-lift to 40’ will also be required. We will get the candidate the proper certifications for all safety and job requirements. Compensation:
$90,000 - $115,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Available to perform ongoing audiovisual engineering support and maintenance with detailed reporting for a large audiovisual and broadcast production facility in the downtown Los Angeles area.
Understand system documentation including singleline, floorplan, elevation, and other drawings and schematics for site systems.
Ability to rapidly troubleshoot as well as maintain networks both large and small as they relate to this facility and coordinate with facility IT Department with a working knowledge of VLANS, VOIP, and network security.
Rapid troubleshooting under pressure is required as well as intimate knowledge of AV systems including audio with mixers and DSP systems, video including video over IP, soft codecs including Zoom and Teams, understanding of AEC and other audio principles, control systems and automation.
Proactively anticipate issues and risks and mitigate those, working closely with Triton’s Management Team, the onsite production team, and the client.
Provide ongoing testing and maintenance of all systems at the site and the ongoing documentation of that testing.
Utilize Blue Folder trouble ticket resolution effort for engineering items with the site systems
Of critical importance is to serve as overall role model and mentor for all field personnel.Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have great technical experience, an ability to provide AV system support and troubleshooting working with our other engineering staff.
AVIXA CTS or CTS-I are preferred.
Manufacturer training and certifications with major brand audio visual systems and components, including Crestron (Crestron 101, Toolbox, & DMC-T,D, or E-4K,) BIAMP (Forte’ & Tesira,) audio mixers, and other broadcast and AV equipment is a plus.About Company
