Job Title: Senior Data Architect

Location: San Diego – 5 Days In-Office

Experience Level: 10+ Years

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions. This role is critical in transforming complex business problems into robust technical data architectures that drive decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions aligned with business goals.

Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable data models and pipelines.

Lead the development and optimization of data platforms using Snowflake, Tableau, and cloud-based ETL tools (e.g. Matillion, or Informatica IICS).

Collaborate with global development teams to ensure consistency and quality across data initiatives.

Should be a Go-Getter with a positive attitude to learn emerging technologies.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.

Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation & ability to present to leadership in large forums.

Consult with senior staff on design architecture procedures, such as the target operating model and roadmap, while considering business strategies and goals.

Provide a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.

Oversee the quality of architecture project deliverables while ensuring that they are following relevant standards and processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or equivalent.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the data and analytics domain.

Proven expertise in Snowflake, Tableau, and at least one cloud-based ETL tool.

Strong Expertise in Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, Cloud Data Architecture, ETL Architecture, Data Visualization, and Self-Service Analytics.

Strong ability to convert business problems into technical data solutions.

Experience working with global teams across time zones.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to work on-site five days a week.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Manufacturing domain.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar technology would be a plus.

Experience with any Gen AI capabilities in Analytics would be a plus.

Summary Pay Range:$120,299.00 - $180,449.00
