The Mechanic works on the fleet of vehicles in Via’s maintenance department at the Boulder location. In this role depending on your level experience, you may perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, changing transmission fluid or radiator coolant, and changing filters. You may also perform tire changes and break changes all the way up to vehicle tune-ups, diagnostic repair, perform DOT inspections, replace breaks, suspension, electrical repairs, heating and air conditioning repairs, as well as wheelchair lift adjustments and repairs.

We have 1 full-time opening out of our Boulder Office:

Hours will be Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm

Experience level considered for this role will range from Mechanic II to Mechanic III.

The starting pay range for the role is $30-$38 per hour depending on experience - see below

Starting pay range for the Mechanic II role is $30-$34 per hour.

Starting pay range for the Mechanic III role is $35-$38 per hour.

Start today and earn a hiring bonus- $2,500 after 60 days and another $2,500 after 6 months.

Qualifications for Mechanic:

Must be at least 19 years of age

5+ years of mechanical experience in gas and diesel repairs or ASE Certification

Will consider Associates Degree in Automotive Technology and 3+ years of mechanic experience in lieu of 5+ years’ experience.

Must obtain 4 ASE Certifications within 6 months of employment (We will help you get these!)

For Level III must obtain ASE Master Certification (8 ASE) within 1 year of employment. (We will help you get these!)

Possess experience in all phases of vehicle maintenance.

Strong background in diagnostics.

Possess a Driver's License that has been continually valid for at least the past two (2) years.

Must pass and maintain DOT physical, random drug testing, and ongoing Motor Vehicle Records checks.

Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position.

Must possess own tools.
