Associate Information Technology
Family Church Network
Position Overview: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the WAN/LAN, end-user computing and break/fix repair work for the Information Technology department of the Family Church Network.
Reports to: Director Information Technology
Prerequisites:
Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
Affirm the FCN statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000.
Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Experience in basic networking and wireless installation and monitoring.
Experience in basic break/fix troubleshooting and repairs.
Experience with PC and Mac is preferred.
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field or experience equivalent.
General Responsibilities:
Receive and resolve tickets from staff (PC and Mac).
Utilize an online system to track, prioritize and report on ticket statuses.
Rotate on-call responsibilities with fellow team members.
Assist in monitoring network availability.
Assist in maintaining inventories of related assets.
Coordinate third-party installations and repair work as needed.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a stressful work environment.
Maintain cooperative spirit assisting others when needed or requested.
Professionally communicate with leadership and staff.
Demonstrate stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment and intellectual property.
Understand and adhere to procedural guidelines and policies.
Install, configure, and deploy computers, tablets, wireless access points, network switches, and firewalls.
Maintain user accounts.
Follow established procedures for IT functions, such as a standard configuration for a computer reinstall.
Install cabling and conduits in attics and crawlspaces.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Able to work on a ladder.
