Stainless Steel Metal Fabricator: Monticello, WI

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stainless Steel Metal Fabricator to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing stainless steel components used in food processing and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with welding, fabrication techniques, and a strong commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

Measure, cut, bend, and shape stainless steel sheets, plates, and pipes

Assemble and weld components using TIG, MIG, and other techniques

Install fabricated parts and systems in accordance with food safety standards

Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing equipment

Ensure all installations comply with hygiene and quality regulations

Inspect and test components for accuracy and compliance

Identify defects and implement corrective measures

Keep thorough records of inspections, tests, and repairs

Partner with engineers, maintenance teams, and production staff

Communicate project updates, challenges, and needs with clarity

Wear PPE and adhere to all regulatory standards

Skills & Experience:

Education: HSD or GED, preferred

Experience: Proven background in stainless steel fabrication, required, in a food manufacturing/processing environment, preferred

Knowledge: Stainless steel properties, ability to interpret blueprints & technical drawings, food processing safety standards, required

Skills: TIG/MIG welding, cutting & grinding techniques, required

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00/hour (based on experience) & up to $2.00/hour KPI incentive bonus

Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
