Cost Accountant – Manufacturing Financial Analyst

Location: Onsite in West Chester, OH

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 / year

What You’ll Do:

Develop and manage cost models across departments and product lines

Analyze standard costs, purchase price variance, and work order variances

Lead budgeting efforts by cost driver and report performance vs. budget

Partner with engineering to ensure item costs and BOMs are accurate

Support month-end close and prepare reporting packages

Lead physical inventory counts and monitor cycle count accuracy

Ensure proper capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets

Conduct make-vs-buy and labor absorption analyses

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3–5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

ERP system experience (NetSuite a plus)

Strong Excel skills and financial modeling abilities

Clear, confident communicator with strong attention to detail

Proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement
