Senior Cloud Director (2312335)

- Responsible for leading cloud transformation initiatives, defining architecture, and delivering scalable, secure cloud-native solutions.

- Build on extensive experience with enterprise systems, business intelligence, and cloud platforms to oversee cross-functional teams, implementing innovative technologies and optimizing infrastructure to meet organizational goals.

- Define and implement cloud strategies, driving innovation and operational efficiency across public cloud platforms.

- Lead the integration of cloud services with on-premises systems to support seamless business operations.

- Architect and support enterprise-level API integrations, data pipelines, and analytics platforms for stakeholders, enabling advanced business intelligence and decision-making.

- Enable cloud infrastructure for software and application development, including DevOps and CI/CD practices.

- Develop and enforce governance frameworks for secure, compliant solutions, aligning with both cloud and on-premises environments.

- Establish and manage Centers of Excellence for DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, and enterprise integration.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, incorporating legacy systems and modern cloud technologies.

- Drive cost optimization initiatives for cloud services, enterprise systems, and IT infrastructure.

- Mentor and guide teams in adopting best practices for agile development, security, and architecture.

- Partner with vendors and stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals, ensuring scalability and business continuity.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud and hybrid performance and reliability.

- 100% remote position.

10 years of experience in IT including 3 years’ experience in cloud technologies and architecture, and 3 years’ experience in a leadership role that manages teams, budgets and cross-functional projects, and demonstrated experience in:

- Cloud strategy, migration, and optimization across platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure.

- Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments. DevSecOps and API management.

- Business Intelligence Architecture

- Cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes or containerization.

- DevOps practices

- CI/CD pipelines

- Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager, or Terraform, or Ansible.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

A Master's degree plus 8 years of experience would be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s plus 10 years of experience.
