deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Software Test Automation Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

deciBel Research is seeking a Software Engineer who is experienced in Test Automation to support software testing activities on the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The software test automation engineer works in Agile-based process within a disciplined DevSecOps environment to provide high-quality software products for the program.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Experience Requirements:

5+ years with Bachelor's degree; 3+ years with Master's degree. Maximum of 10 years' experience

Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment

Recent development using Python

Recent experience in software development related to Test Automation

Experience/Exposure to Test Automated GUI driven tools – Eggplant specifically

Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira, Confluence, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Fortify, or Coverity

Proven ability to work across product teams to produce program level solutions

Must be able to work in office, on site

Special Skills Desired:

Recent and strong understanding of Python development language

Recent and strong experience in Eggplant Test Automation tool

Experienced leader in an Agile/Scrum environment

Proven communication and interpersonal. skills - Ability to collaborate with management, systems engineers, hardware designers and integration/test engineers at all levels

Security+ certified

Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance or higher. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
