System Test Engineer

Plateau GRP is seeking a highly skilled System Test Engineer to support mission-critical operations for the United States Air Force. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and offers the opportunity to contribute to national defense by ensuring the reliability and performance of complex systems through rigorous testing and analysis.

Location: The position will be remote with the requirement to be onsite for planning activities and client meetings with prior notice.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert in system testing and analysis.

Provide analytical support for process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition.

Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and documentation for various testing phases including:

Unit Testing

Integration Testing

Functional Testing

End-to-End Testing

Conduct both manual and automated testing of software systems.

Analyze and test RESTful APIs, including sending and receiving data.

Perform testing in cloud-based environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system operability and compliance with project standards.

Support integration into DoD DevSecOps environments (desired).

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of recent and relevant experience in system testing and documentation.

3+ years of experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

3+ years of experience testing web-based applications.

Hands-on experience with RESTful interface testing.

Experience testing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar).

Desired Qualifications:

Experience working within DoD DevSecOps environments.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
