Job Overview:
As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in implementing and facilitating educational programs. This role will also provide academic and executive function support. You will work closely with our team to develop tailored curriculum and facilitate classes that address the unique needs of the individuals we support. Your expertise as an adaptive educator and experience in special education will be key in helping our individuals achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Program Coordinator:
Implement the mission of TNEC by empowering individuals with tools, resources, and guidance for personal growth, well-being, and autonomy, and be part of a team that values diversity, inclusion and compassion.
Read and implement tailored curricula designed for adults with learning differences, ADHD, level 1 autism spectrum disorder, and/or other neurodiverse profiles.
Facilitate classes and workshops that focus on academic skills, executive function, and personal development toward independence.
Work with the TNEC team towards establishing, monitoring and achieving life goal plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages growth and development.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on best practices.
Additional requirements:
Work toward personal and professional goals.
Strong organizational and classroom management skills; ability to lead small groups and adapt material to meet various learning styles with patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Adaptive educator with experience in creating and facilitating educational programs.
Organized & self-motivated.
Special Education credential and behavior management experience preferred, but not required.
Schedule:
· Monday through Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm
Salary
· $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience.
Note: This position may evolve based on team input and programmatic development needs
