Data Analytics Power BI Lead Developer

Job Description

Our client is a Fortune 500 Fintech firm based out of Berkeley Heights, NJ

This is a W2 contract position, no third party please, must be GC holder or US Citizen

Contract duration is 6 months, with the possibility to extend or convert to full time.

Onsite 5 x in the office is mandatory

What you will do:

Design, development, and implementation of scalable and reliable data products and integration solutions, ensuring high performance, data quality, and security.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, product owners, business analysts, and other engineers to gather requirements and define integration needs.

Provide technical guidance to a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Develop APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes to enable seamless data integration and transformation across different systems and platforms.

Evaluate and select appropriate data integration tools, frameworks, and technologies, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Perform thorough testing and debugging of integration solutions to identify and resolve issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management, integration, and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance existing systems and propose new solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for effective data management and integration solutions.

Drive the adoption of best practices and standards for data governance, data modeling, and integration processes.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest improvements to Testing process and tools to help accelerate, simplify and reduce the cost of deployment.

What you will need to have:

4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field & At least 10+ years experience as a Software Engineer, Data Architect

Ability to develop end-to-end technical solutions into production — and to help ensure performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration.

Programming expertise in Power BI, Java, Python.

Core cloud data platforms including Snowflake, AWS, Azure

SQL and the ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries

Create and deliver detailed presentations.

Detailed solution documentation (e.g. including POCS and roadmaps, sequence diagrams, class hierarchies, logical system views, etc.)

Hand-on experience on Power BI, Tableau, Informatica and RDBMS databaseCompany Description
