Forklift Material Handler

Job Description

Peoplelink Staffing has partnered with a PREMIER employer withing the Boise metropolitan area. Our client is a premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products, and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy-duty, and manufactured housing markets. We currently have Forklift Material Handler openings at their Caldwell, ID facility.

The Forklift Material Handler operates a forklift to ensure production lines are stocked with materials. Forklift Material Handlers are also responsible for to ensure parts and material are staged as necessary, move material around the shop to ensure proper product flow, maintain housekeeping, keep trash emptied and rotate material by production dates.

Forklift Material Handler Job Summary:

1st shift

Monday – Friday

8am-5pm

$18.00/hr starting wage

Temp to hire Forklift Material Handler Duties:

Use of forklift to ensure production lines are stocked

Responsible for moving material and rotating material by production dates

Ensure the production line has the correct parts/materials to maintain product flow

Maintaining good housekeeping and keeping aisles clean

Follow all procedures to ensure a quality product

Follow schedules and ensure that schedules are completed on time and correctly

Maintain a safe a clean work environment

Rework axles as needed

Work within and promoting a TEAM atmosphere amongst co-workersForklift Material Handler Qualifications:

Must be certified to operate a forklift

Must have the flexibility to work overtime as needed

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
