This is a permanent, on-site opportunity to turn raw data into meaningful business insights that support operations and growth. Location: Torrance, CA Position: Data Analyst Industry: Manufacturing Employer: A client of Robert Half About the Role: In this role, you’ll partner with key departments to analyze operational data, build reports, and deliver actionable insights that improve performance and decision-making throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources Use SQL to query databases and extract meaningful datasets Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, variances, and KPIs Build dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau Present clear, data-driven insights to business stakeholders Document business and data requirements for reporting and analytics projects Conduct A/B testing and other methods to evaluate the impact of initiatives Support claim administration and process improvement efforts What You Bring: Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation Strong Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling Excellent communication and presentation abilities Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
