Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is essential to supporting the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and components used in our production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure electronic equipment used in production machinery and automation systems.

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration on factory-floor electronics to ensure consistent production quality.

Troubleshoot and repair faults in electronic circuits, PLCs, sensors, HMIs, drives, and control systems.

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Support manufacturing engineers in the implementation and testing of new equipment and control systems.

Assist with the assembly, testing, and modification of control panels and prototype builds.

Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and parts inventories.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety procedures when working with high-voltage equipment and machinery.

Communicate technical information clearly with engineers, supervisors, and production staff.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime and increasing equipment reliability.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics Technology, Industrial Automation, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electronics Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Hands-on experience with industrial controls, PLCs, servo systems, and embedded electronics.

Solid understanding of analog/digital circuits, microcontrollers, and basic networking.

Proficient with multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related diagnostic tools.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices is a plus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop-floor environment.
