Engineering Lecturer (P.Eng)

LearnFormula is seeking experienced and articulate Professional Engineers (P.Eng.) to create high-quality, technical, and engaging continuing education (CPD) content for licensed engineers across Canada. We look for someone idially in Ontario to come a few times to the office, but this is optional ! This is a contract-based role, compensated per hour of recorded video.

This opportunity is ideal for a subject matter expert with deep expertise in engineering practice, professional ethics, regulatory frameworks, or emerging technologies—who is also comfortable in making their own video courses.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in self-recorded video sessions on engineering topics.

Collaborate with LearnFormula’s content and production teams to structure, record, and refine sessions optimized for professional learners and distribution across platforms (including social media).

Ensure technical accuracy by staying current with PEO guidelines, national codes, and industry best practices .

Contribute ideas for future course modules, trending topics, and high-impact learning resources tailored for the Canadian engineering community.

Required Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing with a Canadian provincial regulator

Strong subject-matter expertise in variety of engineering topics

Experience in teaching, public speaking, or delivering technical training

Outstanding verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical content clearly and engagingly

Comfortable on camera, especially in structured, conversational, or panel-style formats

Preferred Experience

Prior involvement in webinars, online teaching, or recorded educational content

Background in engineering consulting, safety audits, or technical compliance (an asset)

Pay:

From $100 up to $500 per hour (based on expertise and production complexity)
