Machinist

Our client, a leader in custom automated manufacturing, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of a dynamic engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Belmont, NH

Pay Range: $54,000 - $65,000 per year

What's the Job?

Analyze specifications and set up machine tools to fabricate components for cutting-edge custom automated manufacturing equipment.

Operate various tool room equipment including CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinders.

Collaborate with engineers to develop custom solutions for complex mechanical problems.

Study blueprints and sketches to determine materials and machines required for fabrication.

Verify dimensions and alignments of machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferably four to six years of related experience and/or training; however, candidates with less experience may be considered.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts and solve practical problems.

Proficiency in interpreting various forms of instructions, including written and diagrammatic.

Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
