To support our growing business needs, we’re investing in systems across key functional areas—including people and safety, asset management, customer experience, and terminal operations. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Technical Application Owner to oversee our Human Capital Management Oracle EBS Applications and HCM Cloud Transformation project.
You are a seasoned professional with a passion for HCM applications. You thrive in driving significant improvements in business processes through the effective use of technology such as EBS, Cloud, RPA and AI.
As a Technical Application Owner, you are responsible for the end-to-end management and optimization of our application portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You lead the HCM Cloud implementation to ensure solution is aligned with business goals, complies with technical stands and integrates seamlessly with other systems. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, streamline processes, and implement innovative solutions that support our strategic objectives.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager, IT, you add value to the organization by key areas of oversight such as:
Leading the technical ownership and roadmap for HCM applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability;
Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet operational needs;
Managing the full lifecycle of applications, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support;
Driving integration efforts between HCM EBS applications and In-house/ COTS applications, such as Crew Scheduling & Time Management, Oracle Financials, IBM Maximo, BI Analytics and more, to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency;
Establishing and implementing best practices in application development, configuration management, and deployment processes;
Overseeing application compliance with applicable regulations and security standards, monitoring system performance and conduct regular audits & risk assessments;
Providing technical leadership and mentorship to application support teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement;
What you bring to the team
Your qualifications are tailored to ensure seamless enhancement and optimization of HCM applications such as Oracle EBS, Time & Attendance, iCIMS, Learning Management, fostering operational excellence and efficiency within our organization.
Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Architecture and Apps CEMLI components including Configurations/Customizations, Extensions, Modifications, Localizations/Internationalization, and Integration
6+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM
5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT initiatives including Oracle Human Resources, Oracle Payroll and Learning Management application implementations and upgrades. Minimum 3 complete and successful implementation projects
In-depth knowledge of Hire to Retire processes, encompassing Talent Management, People Management, Time & Attendance, Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, Learning Management and Performance Management. Skilled at analyzing requirements and translating them into effective solutions
Proven experience as a Technical Application Owner, or similar role with a focus on Oracle HCM applications;
Proficiency in using PL/SQL
Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM cloud applications
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira) is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and explain technical concepts clearly
Proficient in creating clear documentation for system configurations and user training

Additional information
The target salary range: $132,600 - $165,700 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
