We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a minimum of six years of experience in structural design and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and residential construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for new construction, renovations, and retrofit projects
Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate existing conditions
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines
Oversee and mentor junior engineers and support staff
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements
Review and approve design work and calculations by peers and consultants
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
6+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering
Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, RISA, or similar
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with seismic design and retrofitting (especially in high-risk zones)
Familiarity with BIM software (e.g., Revit Structures)
LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design principles
