Job Title: Quality Document Control Specialist

Shift / Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start
Location: Richardson, Texas
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organization? Our client, a leading supplement company, is seeking a Quality Document Control Specialist to join their team in Richardson, TX. In this vital role, you'll ensure all quality and production documentation is accurate, compliant, and meticulously maintained within a GMP environment.
As a Quality Document Control Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Collect and review various production, packing, quality inspection, release, and testing records.
Ensure accuracy, proper filing, and accessibility of all documents, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage document revisions, including updating Quality SOPs, work instructions, and forms.
Coordinate with department heads to secure necessary approvals and signatures for new and revised documents.
Create and maintain robust document tracking systems to ensure all records are current and compliant.
Manage and track employee training records, specifically for production, quality, and warehouse teams.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
To be successful as the Quality Document Control Specialist your background and experience will include:
Experience in the supplements, food, or powder industry is highly preferred.
Proven ability to work with and manage paperwork effectively.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organization and record-keeping skills.
Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with document review processes and writing procedures.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for document control is a plus.
A 4-year college degree is preferred; a 2-year associate’s degree is accepted.
