Why This Role Exists

We need to deliver v1 of our perception stack (sensor selection and placement, object detection, obstacle detection) by December 2025. You will own that charter end-to-end, from algorithm design through on-floor validation.

Must-Haves

5+ years shipping perception on mobile robots (warehouse or factory preferred).

Object detection, segmentation, machine learning.

Python, C++, software development, software design.

Debugging on-robot, log analysis, field testing.

Nice-to-Haves

Multi-modal fusion

Synthetic data pipelines

Learning-based depth estimation

Simulation for training, testing and development.

Familiarity with recent models and approaches such as DINOv2, dust3r, etc...
