OIC Engineer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
An Enterprise Oracle Integration Cloud - OIC Engineer analyzes business needs and designs Oracle-based solutions, focusing on areas like Financials, SCM, and HCM. They configure Oracle applications, provide expertise, and support end-users, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and optimization. Key tasks include requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and user training.
• Review, debug/troubleshoot the OIC integrations to various boundary systems.
• Review, debug/troubleshoot PL/SQL Packages.
• Work with the Java Microservices / APIs.
• Strong foundation of Oracle Fusion - BIP, BICC, REST APIs, Security (OAuth2).
• Strong foundation Oracle Autonomous Database, OCI, Storage, Vault.
• Establish monitoring strategies for various OIC components - Integrations, Connections, Business Events, File Servers etc.
• Work with Development and other stakeholder teams to triage the incidents.
• Develop and maintain documentation.
• Stay current with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) updates and new features to continuously improve integration solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis:
Gather and analyze business requirements to understand client needs and identify the best Oracle solutions.
Solution Design:
Design Oracle-based solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
Configuration:
Configure Oracle applications to meet specific business process requirements.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Lead testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of implemented solutions.
Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including functional specifications and user guides.
Training and Support:
Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective utilization of Oracle systems.
Collaboration:
Work closely with technical teams, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle applications.
Applications Expertise: Deep understanding of Oracle modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HCM, Permitting and Licensing, Retail).
Business Process Expertise: Knowledge of various business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report).
Solution Design and Implementation: Ability to design, implement, and manage Oracle solutions.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.

Bachelors/Masters in Engineering.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 a year
