What you will do:
Develop and analyze structural designs for buildings and other structures using advanced engineering software and techniques
Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop and implement structural designs that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for construction projects, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software
Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including seismic and wind load considerations
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve the quality and efficiency of structural designs continuously
What you will need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, a master's degree is preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) designation is required
5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
