INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to join our Factory Operations team. This role is pivotal in supporting the design, production, and delivery of world-class automation and control systems manufactured at our facility. You will contribute to INTECH’s mission of building high-performance, customized industrial systems that serve industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing.

You will be responsible for executing electrical and instrumentation quality inspections, test plans, and compliance checks to ensure system integrity, safety, and adherence to technical standards throughout the production lifecycle.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

Ensure all Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) installation and inspection activities are executed safely and in compliance with technical and quality standards

Implement and monitor the approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and relevant quality procedures

Conduct inspections and testing of power transformers, switchboards, batteries, lighting systems, and instrumentation equipment

Perform functionality, continuity, insulation resistance, and communication tests on E&I systems

Verify conformity of materials, equipment, and workmanship with project specifications and industry standards

Review and update "as-built" drawings and perform punch-listing activities

Interface with clients, third-party inspectors, and project teams to ensure all inspection and code requirements are met

Ensure accurate documentation and management of quality records, test reports, and inspection data

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying quality gaps and suggesting corrective actions

Interpret E&I engineering drawings, standards, and codes, and guide site teams accordingly

Ensure compliance with applicable information security and safety policies

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality works within the oil and gas industry, especially in CI Skids and EPC projects

Hands-on experience in inspection and testing of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems

Experience in working with customer representatives, third-party inspectors, and classification societies

Strong background in interpreting E&I drawings and troubleshooting field issues

Education:

BSc in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent

Additional E&I Certification

Valid professional qualification such as CompEx or equivalent

Management System Lead Auditor qualification is a plus

Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and relevant inspection procedures

Proficient in English (written and verbal)

Able to interpret engineering drawings and apply relevant codes and standards

Skilled in using electrical and instrumentation tools

Excellent documentation and computer skills; ERP system experience preferred

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders

Physically fit to work in extreme climatic conditions

Resilient under pressure with a logical, well-thought-out approach to problem-solving

Highly observant, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
