Job Title: Systems Engineer - SATCOM
Location: Duluth, GA (Onsite)
Duration: Temporary ( 3 months)
Travel: 35% (including potential international travel - valid passport required)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with proven experience in designing and integrating complex system solutions within the SATCOM industry. The ideal candidate is a multitasker with strong analytical and communication skills, excellent organizational capabilities, and a background in interdisciplinary engineering. This role involves working directly with customers to understand needs and translate them into actionable, high-quality hardware and/or software system solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, document, and support testing of complex hardware/software systems.
Lead or support integration of SATCOM systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Contribute to systems architecture with a focus on innovation and technical excellence.
Define development architecture and toolsets to enhance system delivery speed and efficiency.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and vendors.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and deployment stages.
Influence product strategy by collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
Support product proposals, technical presentations, and provide SME input to key stakeholders.
Assist in estimating and managing project timelines, scope, costs, and risks.
Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and techniques.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protect proprietary information (ITAR compliance required).
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 6-8 years of experience
OR, in lieu of a degree, 12-14 years of related technical experience
Technical Expertise:
Extensive domain knowledge in SATCOM systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, MS Project)
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
