Summary:
We are representing a reputable, employee-owned mechanical contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in managing HVAC scopes. This role is ideal for someone who has managed client accounts and successfully completed projects from start to finish. While experience with homeowner-builders is acceptable, candidates with multifamily project backgrounds are preferred. Commercial project experience is also welcome. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout
Manage client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedule and quality standards
Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost controls while ensuring timely billing and documentation
Lead project meetings and maintain communication between internal teams and external stakeholders
Review and manage contracts, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages
Track labor, materials, and equipment usage; resolve project-related issues promptly
Maintain strong relationships with clients and promote repeat business opportunities
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical contracting
Proven ability to manage and maintain client accounts and relationships
Experience completing ground-up or renovation projects (start-to-finish)
Multifamily project experience preferred; commercial and homeowner-builder experience acceptable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management tools (Excel, Procore, etc.)
Strong organizational and leadership skills with effective communication abilities
