Position Overview

WhirlWind Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Principal Network Architect who shall provide network architecture and design services while ensuring secure, reliable, and low latency networking.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.

Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines in accordance with the organization's strategy and goals.

Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.

Advises on selection of technological purchases regarding processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.

Sets standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.).

Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management. Tracks current plans.

Monitors and reviews the success of systems and ensures efficiency and effectiveness.

Education

Minimum BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent certification, or years of experience)

Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Preferred

Must have at least one certification from the list below:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert

Requirements

Minimum 10 years' experience

Network Architecture and Design

Security Architecture and Design

Unified Communications Architecture and Design

Audio/ Visual Architecture and Design
