Equipment Operator

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Equipment Operators for projects located in the Fayetteville, NC area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $24-25/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Operate a variety of heavy equipment: excavator/trackhoe loader backhoe bulldozer dump truck tamper and water truck

Conduct routine inspections on equipment including moving parts, welds, and structural integrity prior to operating

Inform supervisor of all defects and malfunctions

Perform minor adjustments as needed

Assist mechanic with major repairs

Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment

Monitor gauges and other indicators ensuring safe operation

Grade, shape, and form work area

Backfill, spread, fill & stabilize stone

Load trucks and dump buckets

Transport dump buckets

Move equipment including rigging and attaching equipment to bucket hook

Adhere to all safety rules guidelines and codes

Maintain records of time worked and materials used

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Prior experience

Pass a drug screen, and background check
