Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated coating operators to join our team and contribute to the production of adhesive-based products. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely production of quality products while adhering to established standards and ISO procedures.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery by loading jumbo rolls onto unwind, adjusting machine components for specific products, slitting, and rewinding continuous strips onto cores.
Obtain work orders from supervisors and label products and cartons appropriately.
Pack products into correct corrugate packaging.
Ensure production quality in accordance with standards and ISO procedures.
Acquire materials specified in work orders and perform general setup of equipment.
Conduct safety checks and inspections before startup.
Document all required information following established inventory procedures.
Efficiently produce all types of adhesive products and inspect finished products for defects.
Perform minor maintenance duties and repairs as necessary.
Maintain cell and department housekeeping and promote teamwork.Essential Skills
Proven ability to work as a team within a diverse workforce in a manufacturing environment.
At least 6 months of operating experience, ideally from a similar environment.
Basic mathematical skills, particularly with fractions.
Comfortable standing for long periods and able to lift up to 50lbs.
Strong attention to detail.
Must wear SD (static dissipative) safety shoes in the coating department.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical skills are essential if previous operating experience is lacking.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean but loud, requiring attention to safety protocols. Employees working in the wet area must wear a hair net and be clean shaven. The schedule is 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, Tuesday - Friday, with potential additional hours on Friday and Saturday. Training will occur on the first shift for up to six months.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
