Position: Manual Lathe Operator

Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay: $23-27+/hr DOE

Schedule: 5:00 AM 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

We re a local manufacturing company with a specialized focus on shaft work. Our operation is unique in that most of our jobs involve turning down shafts to precise diameters rarely requiring additional processes. We're a small, tight-knit team that values craftsmanship and precision.

What You ll Do:

Set up and operate a manual lathe

Turn shafts to specific diameters with tight tolerances

Use standard precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy

Work independently to meet production goals

Lift, bend, and move up to 50 lbs during 10-hour shifts

What You Need to Have:

The Musts:

Manual Lathe Setup & Operation experience

Proficiency with standard machine measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

Strong attention to detail

Physical ability to work a full shift and lift 50 lbs

Dependable, self-directed work ethic

Preferred:

Experience specifically working with shaft components

Familiarity with 4x10 shift environments
