We Are Looking For
The Senior Credit Analyst who will be responsible but not limited to analyzing credit history and information related to applications for credit and overdue/delinquent accounts, ensures compliance with credit and collection regulations and adherence to best practices, providing reporting on outstanding account balances, credit applications and collection activity.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, and payment reconciliation
Accurately apply daily customer payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) to appropriate accounts and invoices
Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments, short pays, chargebacks, and deductions
Monitor and maintain aging reports; follow up on past-due accounts and escalate as needed
Communicate with customers regarding payment status, disputes, and resolution of billing issues
Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to support order release, credit holds, and cash flow goals
Assist with monthly AR close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
Contribute to AR reporting, KPI tracking, and process improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
Resolves customer complaints and verifies transactions through consultation
Address internal/external customer inquiries regarding Payment applications
Assist with audit preparation, investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-complianc
Train and mentor junior staff
Performs other duties as assigned
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin. or Economics
3–5+ years of accounts receivable and cash application experience in a high-volume environment
Experience with company credit risk modeling and credit reporting tools (D&B, Credit Safe, etc.)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (GAAP, IFRS)
Must be a US person based on ITAR requirements
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
Ability to be detailed-oriented and perform in-depth Technical/Professional research
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational, time-management skills and execution
ERP Knowledge and Experience – Quantum, NetSuite, SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Dynamics, Sage, Great Plains
Illustrate the ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with currency exchange and conversions
Intermediate Excel Skills (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEX, Pivot Table, etc.)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
Team player and ability to motivate the team member
Special Requirements:
