Job Title: General Manager

Location: Gainesville, GA

Reports To: Partners

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our operations and drive strategic growth. This role will encompass oversight of all departments, ensuring operational excellence, fostering client relationships, and enhancing employee development. Key Responsibilities:

Work with partners to develop strategic plans for the company and implement these plans across all departments to drive growth and efficiency.

Oversee and mentor department and sales managers, ensuring effective coordination of work assignments, performance monitoring, and adherence to company standards.

Direct daily operations, including Quality Assurance, Environmental Compliance, Purchasing, Safety, Transportation, and Supply Chain, to optimize productivity and quality.

Joint with the partners and CFO, manage the organization’s P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure profitability and sustainability, and drive growth and efficiency.

Identify and nurture talent within the organization through training, mentoring, and career development initiatives to build a high-performing team.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and addressing any concerns promptly.

Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring all operations align with industry standards and best practices.

Foster collaboration across departments, including Sales, Finance, and HR, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the organization.

Develop and utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and guide strategic decision-making.

Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Address and resolve any operational challenges or quality issues, ensuring timely communication with executive management.

Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry associations to enhance business operations and logistics.

Cultivate a positive organizational culture that emphasizes employee engagement, recognition, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field (preferred but not required)

8 - 10 years proven experience in a general management or similar leadership role, preferably within a construction, contracting, HVAC, sales, or similar environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Work Environment:

Primarily in the office but may be required to work in the field as required.
