Our client, a leading solutions provider in the Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Energy, Automation, and Service Maintenance fields, is offering a rewarding opportunity for a Dispatcher role. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Handle client service calls and initiate jobs following all proper procedures.

Verify work orders for correct details before forwarding them for billing.

Schedule and dispatch technicians for maintenance and service calls.

Create job numbers and files for both emergency and scheduled work.

Order necessary materials for monthly maintenance.

Conduct research to determine whether a job is a warranty call or not.

Maintain job logs and file paperwork in collaboration with the Purchasing Agent.

Assist new technicians with employment policies and procedures related to dispatch.

Handle phone/radio overflow and cover for other dispatchers during lunch time and leave periods.

Take complaint calls and handle them appropriately or direct them to the Branch Manager.

Handle billing/invoice queries and direct them to the appropriate personnel.

Notify sales department of major clients’ service calls when necessary.

Enter technician's time into system and complete service work order for Branch Manager's review.

Maintain certified payroll report files for each job.

Engage in cross-training opportunities as required to support coworkers and improve the business and customer experience.

Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Previous experience in the HVAC industry is a plus.

At least 1 year of customer service experience is required.

General computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary.
