Title: IT Project Manager – Design & Construction

Location: Las Vegas, NV – Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Type: Permanent Salaried Position or Contract to Hire

The IT Project Manager will oversee medium to large-scale or one extra-large IT infrastructure project, guiding all phases from planning and design through build, test, and go-live. This role involves cross-functional coordination, vendor management, and stakeholder communication to ensure all project components remain aligned with scope, timeline, and budget. The position supports new builds and remodels across casino and hospitality environments and follows a hybrid work model (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).

Your role:

Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans in adherence with standard methodologies.

Track project timelines, business milestones, deliverables, and budgets.

Delegate tasks to appropriate team members and coordinate multiple project teams.

Manage scope, timeline, and cost changes; escalate issues appropriately.

Create and maintain all required project management artifacts.

Act as primary contact for interdepartmental collaboration on assigned projects.

Communicate effectively with business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Adjust project schedules and targets in response to evolving requirements or budget changes.

Develop and maintain productive relationships with business owners, sponsors, and project teams.

Lead staffing assessments and resource planning; develop project budgets and manage actuals.

Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks and issues; maintain RIDA logs.

Conduct project kickoff meetings and clarify roles and expectations.

Perform quality reviews, monitor resource utilization, and ensure delivery within defined scope.

Develop recovery plans for at-risk projects and communicate impacts when unresolved.

Provide regular status reports covering milestones, budget, risks, scope, change requests, and issues.

Facilitate post-project reviews, including formal stakeholder acceptance and lessons learned.

Recommend process improvements based on past project experiences.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, casino operators, and other stakeholders to integrate IT requirements into property designs.

Manage coordination between internal departments (IT, operations, security) and external vendors or contractors.

Develop and manage budgets for IT equipment and infrastructure.

Oversee design and deployment of IT systems (networks, security, servers, storage, telecom, POS) tailored for casino/hospitality use.

Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with casino operational needs and strategic goals (e.g., gaming systems, guest services, entertainment).

Ensure compliance with industry and gaming regulations on data security, transactions, and privacy.

Maintain consistent communication with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

What you’ve got:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 4+ years of IT project management experience required; 5–7 years preferred for construction-related projects.

5–7 years of experience in IT project management for casino or hotel new builds/remodels.

3–5 years specifically in casino/hospitality environments.

Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects including networks, security, gaming systems, and telecommunications.

Ability to travel to local and national casino sites.

Willingness to work in construction environments with noise, dust, and variable conditions.

Experience with IT project delivery in regulated enterprise or gaming environments preferred.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong leadership, collaboration, planning, and organizational skills.

Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Skilled at facilitating cross-functional team meetings and eliciting stakeholder cooperation.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results in ambiguous environments.

Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Must meet all licensing and certification requirements as applicable.
