Summary
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources department with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in areas such as recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement and events, benefits, compliance and more. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
The position is located at our corporate office in Menomonee Falls, WI. This is a Part-Time or Full-Time role depending on the candidate’s availability and offers the potential to transition into a permanent role within the HR team.

Duties
Assist with posting job openings on various platforms and monitoring budgets
Sourcing and screening of resumes
Research recruiting sources and practices in designated markets
Assisting in scheduling interviews and providing communication to applicants
Collaborate and support the HR Team with various projects
Assist the department with planning and preparation for company events
Help with administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and other employee benefits
Provide administrative support to HR team members in areas such as; maintaining employee records, HRIS management and reporting functions, internal employee communications
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a senior-level student currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a recent graduate
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
Proactive, dependable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarly with HR Software or Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is a plus but not required
