Database Engineer

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45209 Hybrid Remote: 2-3 days in the office per week

Travel: Quarterly company events in Cincinnati

Responsibilities:

Supporting database requests from enterprise applications

Assisting with a large, ongoing on-prem to cloud database migration

Designing and implementing low-latency, high-performing database services

Resolving database issues, debugging, root cause analysis

Providing development support in debugging and resolving assigned defects

Participating in an on-call rotation with potential for evening and weekend work

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in database development with SQL Server

Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Strong understanding SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning

Experience analyzing database applications

Experience with ETL processes

Experience working in Agile environments

Hands-on experience with database migrations – on-prem to cloud is preferred (GCP)

Strong troubleshooting experience, supporting production environments (SaaS)
