Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Technology Services in Canada and Globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures that all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Oversight of Vulnerabilities pertaining to Patching cadences for Infrastructure and Application servers.
Collecting and Analysis of Critical Application Assets remediation efforts.
Analyzing Vulnerability and remediation data and creates reporting dashboards.
Identifying and articulating the means to resolution / remediation of servers as part of the contribution to BNS Security Risk Index scores.
Generating reports attesting to remediation findings.
Generating detailed tracking of assets that exceed defined BNS policy thresholds.
Identify IT and Business owner mappings to server assets.
Able to work in both independent and team environment.
Collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams and Technology partners to advance remediation activities
Contribute to and be a part of a collaborative team environment
Review performance reports, assist with the weekly and monthly reporting and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Develop and produce professional spreadsheets from different data sources.
Investigate using available tools and countermeasures to remedy the detected vulnerabilities and recommend solutions and best practices
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporate into in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Contributing to the vulnerability and host audit remediation tracking of servers and other vulnerable assets globally.
Education / Experience / Other Information
Superior English written and verbal communications with good presentation skills and collaborative orientation skill set (B2)
Advanced Excel Skills
Advanced in PowerPoint and presentation skills
Strong Power BI knowledge and experience
Strong Database and Report development knowledge
Strong ServiceNow knowledge (report)
Exacting in following procedural documents
Ability to analyze data and assess vulnerabilities in infrastructure (software, hardware, networks).
Strong people management and time management abilities
Technic background
Highly familiar or experienced in Vulnerability Management/Cybersecurity & Server compliance
Understanding of Vulnerability Management and Tool sets (Tenable) equating into a strong working knowledge of information security principles and security operations
Bilingual English/Spanish language skills (B2 English level)
Working Conditions
Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
