Position Objectives

Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives

Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance

Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached

Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

Drive/Provide writing, research, and administrative support (non-negotiable/required)

Main POC between contractor team and COR and CO

Required skills and qualifications

Ten (10) or more years of program management experience (non-negotiable/required)

Experience drafting executive level documents and correspondence (non-negotiable/required)

Possess DHS TS/SCI security clearance (non-negotiable/required)

Experience supporting DHS CISA or Dept of State (non-negotiable/required)

Council Management experience (non-negotiable/required)

Project Management Professional (PMP) via Project Management institute (non-negotiable/required)

Experience with providing writing, research, and administrative support (non-negotiable/required)

Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization

Experience in managing stakeholders

Working knowledge of digital marketing

Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

Responsibilities

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple stakeholder councils, including scheduling meetings, developing agendas, and managing logistics

Actively engaging with representatives from various sectors to cultivate strong relationships and foster open communication.

Collecting and analyzing stakeholder feedback, concerns, and best practices to inform council discussions and policy decisions.

Leading council meetings effectively, ensuring all voices are heard, and facilitating productive discussions on critical issues.

Contributing to the development of overall engagement strategies, aligning council activities with broader organizational goals.

Preparing meeting summaries, action items, and other reports to keep stakeholders informed and track progress.

Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives

Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives

Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors

Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives

Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department

Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders

Preferred skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s and/or Masters degree (or equivalent) in business administration, international affairs, or related field

Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software, or MS Project, or Asana
