SUMMARY
This position is a strategic partner within the health system’s enterprise that is responsible for analyzing and effectively administering provider compensation programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a compensation subject matter expert to all stakeholders across the health system in HR, shared services, and service line operations.
Conducts business analysis in partnership with operations, finance, legal, and other HR functional areas to understand business needs and maintain a competitive provider compensation structure.
Designs and maintains spreadsheet cost models to conduct individual, service line, and/or system-wide compensation analysis and makes accurate and timely recommendations to Compensation Leadership.
Partners with talent acquisition and service line operations on offer proposals/contract negotiations.
Acts as a strategic compensation resource for labor spend/pay practice evaluations related to new acquisitions and reorganizations in collaboration with network development and service line operations.
Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information relative to internal compensation pay practices.
Responsible for maintaining and updating provider compensation databases.
Administers contract changes and performs audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Responsible for maintaining job leveling and benchmarking of new and existing jobs in adherence with wage compliance guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business-related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of compensation or health care operations experience preferred.
Strong professional written and oral communication skills.
Strong critical thinking, quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills.
Proficient use of HCM systems (Workday).
Strong Excel skills.
Healthcare administration background desired

PAY RANGE:$65,000.00 - $85,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
