Job Title: CNC Machinist (Precision Machinist)

Location: Bartlett, IL

Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $20â $30 per hour (based on experience)

Job Duties:

Set up machines for new or existing parts

Start machines and perform startup inspections to ensure accuracy

Ensure correct gauging is being used for specific jobs

Read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications

Operate CNC, grinding, and honing machines to produce precision components

Meet or exceed production rate expectations

Conduct in-process inspections using specified gauging tools

Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) as required

Refill machine fluids and perform basic machine maintenance

Troubleshoot setup and production issues

Maintain a clean and organized workstation

Qualifications:

2+ years of CNC machining, grinding, or honing experience preferred

Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications

Familiarity with gauging tools and inspection techniques

Experience setting up and troubleshooting CNC or honing equipment

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet production goals
