Medical Practice Representative / Front Desk/Referrals

**Description:**

**Position Purpose:**

+ Medical Practice Representative serves as a primary contact/link between office and all outside parties. Performs duties such as scheduling appointments, entering patient demographics into system, filing and maintaining patient medical records

+ Specialty: Pulmonary and Sleep

+ Location : 150 Taylor Station Road, Suite 200, Columbus, Ohio 43213

+ Hours of office: Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m

**What You Will Do:**

+ Welcome patients

+ Register patients

+ Gather insurance, check demographics

+ Soft collections

+ Answering incoming calls

+ EPIC

+ Schedule appointments

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Education: High school graduate or equivalent

+ Licensure / Certification: N/A

+ Experience: One to two years of medical office experience preferred

+ Experience answering multiline telephone system preferred

+ Basic computer skills required
