A leading $1B+ analytical testing company is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced robotic automation systems. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that combines mechanical, electrical, and software expertise to drive automation excellence across a fast-paced and innovative organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop full-scale robotic automation systems, integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Program control algorithms and automation software (C++, Python); experience with ROS is highly desirable.
Integrate robotic platforms with laboratory/industrial equipment and LIMS systems.
Develop intuitive user interfaces for system control and operation.
Conduct validation testing, analyze performance data, and iterate to ensure quality and compliance.
Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware and software layers.
Maintain thorough documentation including system specs, manuals, and support guides.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of experience in automation or robotics with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
Strong knowledge of robotics, kinematics, control systems, and integration.
Proficiency in C++ and Python; ROS, PLC, and SCADA experience is a plus.
Familiarity with industry safety standards and best practices.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
