CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a skilled CNC Machinist with at least 2 years of hands-on experience who knows their way around CNC lathes. If you thrive in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment and take pride in producing top-notch parts, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.

Inspect finished products to ensure quality and tight tolerances.

Make minor program edits and adjustments to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.

Maintain safety, organization, and cleanliness in the work area.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of CNC lathe machining experience .

Prefer 5 year of CNC machining experience.

Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Understanding of G-code and CNC controls (Fanuc).

Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training a plus.

Nice to Have:

Experience with multi-axis machines.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.

Previous work in a job shop or high-mix, low-volume production environment.
