Opening: CNC Programmer & Machinst

City: Battle Ground, WA

Day Shift and Swing Shift

Located in Battle Ground, Washington, TennMax is an industry leader in the creation of Electro Mechanical components for the Military and Aerospace industries. We have a job opening for one CNC machinist and / or programmer for full time swing shift position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

This company is looking for a CNC Machinist and or programmer that has experience operating both horizontal and vertical machines. As this team’s newest CNC Machinist, you will be operating CNC Machines that are both 3 & 4 axis as well as performing preventative maintenance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

The Musts:

+3 years of experience using 3 & 4 axis machines

+3years of experience with hand tools

Coachable personality and ability to pick things up quickly

Can consistently lift 50lbs

Strong tool knowledge

Understanding of material types and grades

Large fab machining experience

Complicated setups

Horizontal Experience

Good math skills

Strong manual and CNC operating skills

Familiar with live tooling

Comprehensive understanding of CNC code

Mastercam and/or CMM experience a plus

Abilities:

Ability to foster and work within a team environment

Actively participates in safety programs and complies with all company safety policies

Ability to follow written and verbal instruction

Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects at one time

Willingness to work extended hours to meet company needs

Maintains a clean and safe work area

Displays attention to detail and consistently follows Standard Work Instructions (when available) when completing tasks

Communicates well with peers, supervision, customers, vendors and other departments

Preferred:

Been in an CNC Machinist role before

Vocational or technical training
