Job Description

An esteemed glass manufacturing facility is seeking an Automation Technician to join its maintenance department.

This role is a long-term contract aimed at maintaining operational efficiency and facilitating the eventual shutdown of the location in December 2026.

The position operates on a 1st shift, with hours from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, and offers opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical troubleshooting in the assigned manufacturing area, including programming and troubleshooting PLCs, Servos, and robotics to eliminate downtime.

Manage machine vision systems effectively.

Collaborate with team members to complete continuous improvement activities using Six Sigma methodologies.

Assist in HMI troubleshooting, upgrading, and installation.

Execute project work including robot upgrades, PLC upgrades, and equipment upgrades as required.

Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $70.00/hr.
