Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for preparing machines for shift start-up and product changes, operating auxiliary equipment to produce various types and sizes of manufactured products while ensuring quality and production goals are met. You will also perform troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
Proficiently perform all operator level 1 and 2 job description requirements.
Monitor and operate processing equipment for production with minimal supervision.
Assist higher-level operators and train lower-level operators.
Use measuring equipment to ensure all quality specifications are met.
Operate material handling and processing equipment required for production and raw materials replenishment.
Update CIP boards using the shop floor management system.
Spot malfunctions with equipment controls and assist with repairs.
Communicate with process and tooling technicians to assist with root cause analysis pertaining to the production process.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
Visually check workstations for low supplies and pull from designated stocking areas.
Transport materials to and from workstations using necessary material handling equipment.
Notify supervisor or material handler when supplies are at reorder levels.
Identify differences in raw material types and part numbers and review the bill of materials to communicate shortages.
Test and inspect produced products to ensure they meet all quality specifications.
Report products outside of specifications to proper supervision or quality personnel.
Perform non-conforming product procedures when necessary.
Isolate and/or rework items that do not meet specifications or quality standards.
Input accurate data into the quality control system.
Identify raw materials that do not meet quality requirements.Essential Skills
Knowledge of basic reading, writing, and arithmetic.
Good manual dexterity skills, especially when working with small parts.
Ability to perform repetitive functions.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to interpret work orders, instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.

Adherence to high standards of quality.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
6-12 months of related experience.
Experience in manufacturing, mechanical aptitude, and mechanical assembly.
Fast-paced job requiring repetitive motions.
Experience with brake press, punch press, and machine operation is advantageous but not required.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.50/hr.
