Director of Information Technology
We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Director of Information Technology (IT) to lead and scale our internal IT infrastructure and services. This role is ideal for a strategic technologist with a passion for systems management, cybersecurity, and cross-functional collaboration. The Director will serve as a trusted leader within the organization, driving innovation, resilience, and operational excellence in all things technology.
We use Salesforce extensively as our CRM, host and manage hundreds of client websites, and provide data and analytics to our clients about their marketing performance.
This is a management position responsible for IT strategy, infrastructure oversight, risk management, vendor relations, and end-user support across all Gargle operations.
Full-Time Hybrid - Remote/Office in Lehi, UT
40 hrs/per week - Salaried - Monday through Friday
Compensation: $90,000/annual to $115,000/annual
Responsibilities:
IT Strategy & Vision:
Develop and lead Gargle's IT roadmap in alignment with business goals and future growth.
Identify and implement scalable technology solutions that increase efficiency and enhance security.
Stay current with trends in IT, security, compliance, and emerging technologies to keep Gargle ahead of the curve.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee internal networks, systems, hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure (Google Workspace, Salesforce, AWS, etc.).
Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance through strong monitoring, documentation, and proactive maintenance.
Lead vendor selection and manage relationships for all IT-related products and services.
Security & Compliance:
Own and manage all aspects of cybersecurity, including data protection, endpoint security, and access controls.
Implement compliance frameworks relevant to client data and HIPAA (if applicable)
Conduct regular audits, disaster recovery testing, and vulnerability assessments.
Team & Support Leadership:
Manage and mentor a small IT team.
Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders across departments, ensuring fast resolution of technical issues.
Develop internal processes and training that empower employees to use technology effectively and securely.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with leadership, marketing, operations, and client services to understand technical needs and deliver scalable solutions.
Provide technical guidance on new software implementations and business process improvements.
Support office and remote work environments by ensuring tools and access are seamless and secure.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a management or director-level role
Demonstrated success in leading infrastructure, security, and support functions
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms
Strong knowledge of Salesforce admin and development
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT best practices, and regulatory compliance
Excellent management, communication, and project management skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Salesforce, networking, endpoint management, and help desk operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in server management and security
Experience in a high-growth or startup environment
Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or AWS Solutions Architect
