Assistant Controller

Financial Additions has partnered with an established construction company looking for an Assistant Controller to join the team. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting background and knowledge of Lease Accounting (ASC842) and Revenue Recognition (ASC606).

Responsibilities

Manages accounting functions and ensures compliance

Oversees treasury management and cash flow

Leads and mentors the accounting staff

Supports audit preparation, researched discrepancies and resolves issues

Identify cost saving strategies and revenue opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field

4+ years experience in accounting

Technical Accounting Background

Public Accounting

Construction experience preferred #INDD
