Since 1945 Frank O. Zeise Construction Co, Inc continues to position themselves at the forefront of the commercial construction Industry. Due to company growth, we are looking to hire our next Shop/Yard Laborer. This has helped Zeise Construction prosper over the last 80 years! We can boast that many of our employees have been with us for 20+ years and leave due to retirement.

Salary range is $24-$28 depending on experience. Paid weekly. Paid 15 minute morning break.

Position is full time 1st shift, Monday-Friday hours are 7am - 3:30pm. 40hours a week.

Responsibilities for a Shop/Yard Laborer:

Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers with construction equipment/Materials

Handle job site deliveries in accordance with company safety and regulatory guidelines.

Clean, restock and minor maintenance on company vehicles and equipment

Material handling using 2 ton and 2 ton diesel trucks with 20’ long beds, forklifts, loaders and/or equipment

Assembly of jobsite materials (may include tools, equipment, scaffolding, concrete wall forms, concrete, masonry and carpentry materials and other items used in construction).

Inventory, store, and handle materials from vendors.

Help maintain/organize/clean up the shop, and yard.

Qualifications for a Shop/Yard Laborer:

Must have a valid Drivers License and a great driving record

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Prior experience loading and driving trucks/trailers with equipment is required.

Strong safety record and a commitment to safety

Take pride in your work!

Prior construction or heavy equipment experience is strongly preferred

Basic to intermediate knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance

Self-motivated and work efficiently

Good attitude and collaborative with others
