DEPARTMENT: Security Operations SAMS

SALARY: $55.931.20 annual salary

LEVEL: L21

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsiblefor the effective and efficient operation of the Security Operations Centerduring assigned shift. Supervisors mustperform all duties and responsibilities required of a Security Operations Dispatcher

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Associatedegree in a Security related discipline and two (2) years security relatedexperience, preferably in an airport environment, or an equivalent combinationof education, training and experience. Experiencemonitoring alarms and/or security systems in an operations center preferred.

Leadership and supervisory skills preferred

Computer proficiency to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Knowledge of Transportation Security Administration security requirements

Experience/knowledge of general airport operations

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to effectively and professionally interact with various Authority staff and Airport security personnel

Ability to operate a two-way radio

Ability to work independently without constant supervision

Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle more than one task at a time

Must be able to act effectively in highly stressful situations

Must be able to type a minimum of 25 cwpm

Proficiency in speaking and understanding English required, multilingual skills desired

Must be able to work rotating shifts, early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
