Job Title: Software Analyst

Agency: Office of Child & Family Services

Location: Onsite/Hybrid (Albany, NY)

Rate: Depends on experience

Position Overview:

Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative for the Facility Application and Management System (FAMS). Work includes process re-engineering, documentation, and user interaction.

Responsibilities:

Document business rules for .NET solutions.

Create and execute test plans.

Gather business and security requirements.

Re-engineer paper-based workflows.

Perform SQL data validation and extraction.

Collaborate with PM and development team.

Qualifications:

7+ years writing specs for .NET applications.

6+ years testing (unit/regression).

7+ years facilitating user/business meetings.

2+ years re-engineering paper workflows.

4+ years SQL data queries/validation.

Bachelor’s Degree.
